This piece is the latest from my studio. Flowers from the garden are always an inspiration. In this case these peonies perfumed my kitchen and office for over a week, until they started to droop and whisper goodbye with their softly falling petals. Day by day I was amazed at how they remained beautiful at every stage of their leaving. Hopefully it is a lesson we all learn as we age.
