This piece was developed from a digital image created to illustrate one of my blog posts on ConstancePatterson.com.
I loved the image and wanted to create a different work from the same design but using a different medium … in this case acrylic. I am happy with the results. The lyric feel of the greenery and the grouping of the trees, create a sense of the community feel of a small copse of trees. When I return to using oils it might be interesting to try the same image in yet another medium.
