This is another of my Tesserae pieces, in which I create a work by using pieces of older paintings and layering them into a new image. Here, an old painting of a stone garden statue has been broken up and reborn as the stalwart survivor standing up in new attire and sharing his positive attitude with the world. I think he looks really natty in his waistcoat.
This image is on deep gallery wrapped canvas with finished edges.
